Alabama Nursing CE Requirements
  • RNs and LPNs in Alabama require 24 hours of continuing education every two years.
  • The Alabama Board of Nursing (ABN) accepts Western Schools’ courses based on our accreditation from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). The ABN does not require ANCC accredited providers to submit your records directly to the board. To manually enter hours awarded by Western Schools, you must log in to your profile on the ABN’s website. If asked for a provider number, enter ANCC.
