About the Author/Presenter 

Amy McMillan, MSN, RN, CHPN,  has a bachelor of arts degree in psychology, as well as a bachelors and masters degree in nursing. She is currently working on coursework to complete a certificate in Thanatology. She has taught nursing at the community college and university level as well as holding various clinical positions. Of all her experience, she loves hospice and palliative care the most.  She has written in-house educational materials for several employers and developed exam questions for online university use. She has assisted with reviewing training material for the Hospice and Palliative Credentialing Center and she has assisted with writing and editing questions for the NCLEX for the past few years.
