Dr. Margaret A. Fitzgerald is an experienced clinician, successful entrepreneur, award-winning author, and renowned speaker. She is Founder of, and principal speaker at, Fitzgerald Health Education Associates, a leading national provider of Nurse Practitioner (NP) certification preparation and continuing education. In her educator role, Dr. Fitzgerald has contributed to the advancement of the nursing profession and practice through hundreds of publications, and thousands of presentations. A sought-after national speaker, Dr. Fitzgerald is a renowned clinician, recognized for her pharmacology, clinical assessment, and infectious disease expertise. She is a presenter and author of numerous infectious disease topics, including COVID-19, HIV, viral hepatitis, measles, mumps, rubella, pertussis, varicella, chikungunya, dengue fever, and others.
