- Examine new foodborne disease surveillance technology and strategies used worldwide to mitigate the transfer of foodborne pathogens.
About the Author/Presenter
Kirk Ornstein MSM, MS, RN, NCSN, CNL, is a dedicated healthcare professional with a Master's degree in nursing, a Clinical Nurse Leader (CNL) certification, and a Nationally Certified School Nurse (NCSN). His extensive experience includes private duty, medical ICU step-down, pediatric nursing, camp nursing, school nursing, and field triage. He has also contributed to epidemiologic fieldwork focusing on foodborne illnesses and was a contact tracer for the NYS Dept. of Health. Kirk's expertise extends to nursing artificial intelligence in pediatrics, and he has a background in the pharmaceutical industry, developing medical education programs and offering insights into FDA regulatory approval processes.

- After completion of the course, complete the final examination. A passing grade of 75% is required. Test questions link content to learning outcomes as a method to enhance individualized learning and material retention.
