Alabama Marriage & Family Therapists (MFT) are required to take 40 continuing education hours every 24 months, including a minimum requirement of 10 hours in clinical MFT workshops and a minimum of 3 hours in the area of professional ethics. Licensed MFT supervisors must also complete a minimum of 5 hours of supervision.
