Physical Therapy Approvals
Western Schools Physical Therapy is an approved provider of physical therapy CE.
California - Select courses have been pre-approved by the Physical Therapy Board of California through Net Education Design, Inc., an agency recognized by the board to approve courses that meet physical therapy regulations 1399.96. Florida - The Florida Board of Physical Therapy accepts CE courses that have been pre-approved by any state chapter of the American Physical Therapy Association. Many of Western Schools’ courses have been pre-approved by the Ohio PT Association. Click here for a list of courses accepted by your board. New Jersey - Select courses have been pre-approved by the New Jersey State Board of Physical Therapy Examiners. Approved courses are identified with a note and approval number in the course description. Click here for a list of pre-approved courses.

Oklahoma - Select courses have been pre-approved by the Oklahoma State Board of Physical Therapy. Approved courses are identified with a note and approval number in the course description. Click here for a list of pre-approved courses.
Pennsylvania - The Western Schools course Pennsylvania Child Abuse Recognition and Reporting, 2nd Edition has been pre-approved by the PA Dept. of Public Welfare and the PA Dept. of Professional & Occupational Affairs to fulfill the 2 hour child abuse recognition and reporting CE requirement.
Texas - Accredited Provider #1911021TX; approved by the Texas Physical Therapy Association. The assignment of Texas PT CCUs does not imply endorsement of specific course content, products, or clinical procedures by the TTPTA or TBPTE. As an accredited provider, Western Schools is authorized to award credit to Texas PTs & PTAs without having to submit individual courses for pre-approval by the Texas Board of Physical Therapy Examiners. It is the responsibility of the licensee to determine if a course meets all of the content requirements or restrictions imposed by their state licensing board. We make every effort to keep this information up-to-date. If you are unsure of the rules in your state, contact your state licensing board.
**In accordance with Georgia Continuing Competence Requirements, a maximum of 10 credit hours will be accepted per calendar day. When completing multiple courses, please submit completed exams for grading as you complete each course, not to exceed more than 10 hours in any given day.
