Advanced Practice Nurses (APN)

Western offers nearly 850 hours of Advanced Level Nursing CE activities in a comprehensive selection of topics and lengths to meet Advanced Practice Nurses (APNs) own goals for professional development, licensure, and certification. These CEU activities are peer-reviewed by subject matter experts and focus on current evidence-based practice to address the current roles, competencies, and emerging trends facing APNs.

APN Continuing Education Accreditations

• Western Schools is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation (ANCC).
• Our ANCC accreditation ensures that the content meets rigorous educational requirements. In addition, nursing boards in 37 states and multiple certifying organizations (i.e. American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, American Psychiatric Nurses Association…) accept courses offered by ANCC accredited providers.
