Anne P. Manton
Anne P. Manton has, for the past 30 years, enjoyed a career in which she combined nursing education and clinical practice. She has taught at the undergraduate (BSN) and graduate (MSN) levels. Until recently, emergency nursing has been her clinical specialty area. She has numerous publications and presents both locally and nationally on a variety of nursing topics. She has held leadership positions in several nursing organizations and is the recipient of numerous awards for her significant contributions to her profession. She is a nurse planner for Western Schools. Anne P. Manton has disclosed that she has no significant financial or other conflicts of interest pertaining to this course book.
Mary Jo Goolsby
Mary Jo Goolsby is director of education and research at the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Dr. Goolsby has a doctorate in education, master’s and bachelor’s degrees in nursing, and has been an adult nurse practitioner for over 25 years. She is a frequent speaker on issues related to nurse practitioners and healthcare.
Laurie Grubbs
Laurie Grubbs is a Professor at The Florida State University College of Nursing. She received her BSN from Florida State University, and her MSN and PhD from University of Florida. She teaches courses on health assessment for the advanced practice nurse and advanced management of the family
