Anne P. Manton
Anne P. Manton has, for the past 30 years, enjoyed a career in which she combined nursing education and clinical practice. She has taught at the undergraduate (BSN) and graduate (MSN) levels. Until recently, emergency nursing has been her clinical specialty area. She has numerous publications and presents both locally and nationally on a variety of nursing topics. She has held leadership positions in several nursing organizations and is the recipient of numerous awards for her significant contributions to her profession. She is a nurse planner for Western Schools. Anne P. Manton has disclosed that she has no significant financial or other conflicts of interest pertaining to this course book.
Lori Schumacher
Lori Schumacher, PhD, RN, CCRN, earned her degrees at Duquesne University (PhD), the University of Minnesota (MS), and Creighton University (BSN). She has over 15 years’ experience in critical care and neuroscience nursing, and maintains CCRN certification.
Cynthia Chernecky
Cynthia Chernecky, PhD, RN, CNS, AOCN, FAAN, earned her degrees at the Case Western Reserve University (PhD), the University of Pittsburgh (MN), and the University of Connecticut (BSN). She also earned an NCI fellowship at Yale University and a postdoctorate visiting scholarship at UCLA. Her clinical areas of expertise are critical care oncology and vascular access. She has more than 30 published books as editor and author with five having won prestigious awards. She is a national and international speaker, researcher, and published scholar.
