Occupational Therapy Accreditations & State CE Requirements

Western Schools’ occupational therapy CE unit, previously doing business as GSC Home Study Courses, is:  

 


 

 

AOTA Approved Provider #4403 - The assignment of AOTA CEUs does not imply endorsement of specific course content, products, or clinical procedures by AOTA. 

 


 

Alabama Board of Occupational Therapy - Provider #50-2165. Western Schools submits all continuing education records to CEBROKER after successful course completion.

 


 

Florida Board of Occupational Therapy - Provider #50-2165. Western Schools submits all continuing education records to CEBROKER after successful course completion.

 


 

Texas Occupational Therapy Licensees: Effective July 1, 2016, the Texas Board of OT Examiners no longer designates continuing education as Type 1 or Type 2. All 30 hours required must be directly relevant to the profession of occupational therapy.

Unless otherwise indicated, all courses are basic level and appropriate for all occupational therapy professionals. There are no prerequisites for these courses.

It is the responsibility of all licensees to determine if a course meets all content requirements or restrictions imposed by their state licensing board.
